Wedding of the Week: Coatbridge couple marry on stunning Loch Lomond evening

The couple

Arlene Dingwall works as an NHS medical administrator and also part-time for Cornerstone supporting young adults with challenging behaviour, while Sean Love is an offshore wind turbine engineer; both are from Coatbridge.

When they met

Arlene and Sean met at a house party in 2009, where they formed an instant connection; and, following a couple of dates, they became a couple and have been inseparable ever since.

The wedding

The ceremony and reception took place at the Lodge on Loch Lomond in Luss on May 12, attended by 138 members of Arlene and Sean’s family and friends, with a further 150 guests joining them in the evening to celebrate and dance the night away.

Attire

Arlene wore a beautiful gown designed by Donna Maria Bridal, Molliesburn, while Sean and his best man and ushers wore kilts from MacGregor and McDuff in Glasgow.

Thanks

Arelene said: “We would like to thank both of our families for their help and to every single person who celebrated with us on our special day. Some people travelled a huge distance to make sure they didn’t miss it and we are so overwhelmed at how much effort everyone put in, and for their generous wedding gifts.”
